Sterling Nursery School, Inc.
This group typically ranges in ages 15 months to 2.9 years old. There is energy and exploring that steer this active group of Yellow Ducklings. There are 12 toddlers with 3 teachers within this group. Developmental goals guide this group, with curriculum that correlates to all cognitive, language, emotional and physical growth at this age and stage of rapid development! Teachers work together to provide a warm, nurturing environment, guiding and fostering each area of exploration, discovery and growth! Our Speech Therapist provides direct consultation to the curriculum and teachers for further language development enrichment and expansion.
Teachers guide our waddling ducks to become more independent in caring for themselves through practice and repetitive routine of important skills of hand washing, using tissues, feeding self and using utensils, picking up toys and making choices in their environment to better interact in the world around them.
"Sterling Nursery School has been absolutely ideal for our sons Mason and Jack. Jack is one and just started earlier this year and Mason is three and has been there for almost 2 years now. Every morning that we drop them off, as we watch them run to their favorite place or run to give their teachers a good morning hug, we feel like we're leaving them at a second home with wonderfully enriching activities and with teachers and guides that are there for and genuinely care about every growing moment in their lives. Jack and Mason always come home excited to sing, dance or tell a story about what they learned at Sterling Nursery that day (Jack in his own way of course) and it brings us to the point of tears to see how much they've evolved and matured just from being students there. We have been so fortunate to have Sterling Nursery help mold the minds and characters of our two precious little boys and look forward to see them learn and grow more and more every day until they get into elementary school. Lastly, we'd like to vouch for Sterling Nursery for putting up with us loopy and at times frantic young parents. We've shown up with the wrong clothes or the wrong diapers and at times, even on the wrong day and we've always felt a calming sensation upon entering of "no big deal, we got this!" when we walk in the door. Sterling Nursery is a very professional, caring and exciting place to send your kids and we could not be more impressed."
