This group typically ranges in ages from 15 months to 2.9 years old. There is energy and exploring that steer this active group of Yellow Ducklings. There are 12 toddlers with 3 teachers within this group. Developmental goals guide this group, with curriculum that correlates to all cognitive, language, emotional and physical growth at this age and stage of rapid development. Teachers work together to provide a warm, nurturing environment, guiding and fostering each area of exploration, discovery and growth. Our Speech/Language Pathologist provides direct consultation to the curriculum and teachers for further language development enrichment and expansion.
Teachers guide our waddling ducklings to become more independent in caring for themselves through practice and repetitive routine of important skills of hand washing, using tissues, feeding self and using utensils, picking up toys, and making choices in their environment to better interact in the world around them.
