Pre-Kindergarten Explorations

For children 4 to 5 years old
We offer both morning half day and full day programs for 3 to 5 days a week.
This group ranges in ages 4 to 5 years old, typically the year before entering kindergarten. There are two groups of 15 to 20 children with a teacher and an assistant teacher per group. The Blue and Purple Owls are wise learners, with the goal of refining readiness skills, following group directions, completing tasks or activities with guidance, cooperative or negotiated play and interactions within a group setting.
This group focuses on self sufficiency of toileting, dressing self, and caring for personal possessions.
Teachers embrace the various levels of each child as they develop skills for transitioning to kindergarten, fostering opportunities, and guiding children to become confident and competent exploring learners, yet allowing for self expression and individuality.
We value and encourage family feedback and connections, striving for developing and maintaining partnerships of care, communication and growth.
